Update Cadence

CHPChecked about once per minute.
WildWebChecked independently about once every two minutes. Reports older than the configured collection window are archived.
Active incident detailsUnchanged active incidents are refreshed about every 3 minutes.
Status meaningCHP records use Active and Cleared. WildWeb records say Reported unless the source explicitly provides Contained, Controlled, or Out. No longer listed and Archived do not mean Crestmap independently confirmed the incident is over. Both use gray map dots; aged-out reports have a muted brown ring while reports removed from WildWeb have a slate ring.
HistoryCleared and archived records stay in the database and are shown when they fall inside the selected time window.

Push Notifications

Crestmap can notify you when it discovers a new matching incident. CHP alerts are selected by default; WildWeb reports are a separate opt-in because the two sources can describe the same incident. Choose sources, areas, and incident categories in Alerts.

Crest + west forestIncludes Angeles Crest, Angeles Forest, Big Tujunga, and Mount Wilson/Red Box incidents. It excludes San Gabriel Canyon, Glendora Mountain/Ridge, Mount Baldy, and San Antonio Canyon incidents.
